I meant to post this last week, and I wanted to get it out there before it rolls off my reader. Alabast from RPGBooster tries out an awesome method to make your maps 3D.  This is a really cool idea, and is a neat use for a tool I hadn’t thought of before.  You might think that it’s simply an eye candy thing, but, as I learned when I designed my house, it’s really hard to tell what a physical space will look like from a two-dimensional representation.  Sure enough, in the process of dimensioning out his map, Alabast discovers that one element is out of scale.  I highly recommend you check it out!
